I bought a macbook in august 2006, I broke the right shift key, is there somewhere that I can buy another one, or would the warenty cover smething like that.

if the warrenty is still valid, it will cober that, and they will send you a knew kkey which you can pop right on. Otherwise, you will have to buy a new keyboard from apple.com. Or you could bring your computer to your local apple store, and see if they have a spare key lying around (that's what I did, and it worked great)!

The warranty should cover something like that, other wise you might just have to go into a computer graveyard store, buy a keyboard and pop a new key on

Contact Apple and number in the manual and call them and ask them where to send it and what you have to do, they will probably fix it.

Try to find an external keyboard port. Or just use it with no cap.
