One of my mates got hit with a £27,000 bill for downloading illegally so i'm now after a decent legal music downloader! i've got an iPod so there doesn't seem to be a lot of choice with the exception of iTunes, just wondered if anyone had any suggestions??

I use limewire. It's free and legal and very user friendly. It's legal cause its peer to peer file sharing.

Goto www.limewire.com to download the basic version.

Well, if you're an iPod user, you're most likely stuck with iTunes for the time being.
eMusic, even though it's more indie music, doesnt have DRM, so they sell you MP3 files that you can use on ANY mp3 player.
