right now, earth is in its middle age and soon to become less livable. the real question is that, if (I) volunteer to become a real probing element instead of the unreliable computers, I'm sure I could have sent hundreds of actual and real observations in which the computers can't do before my oxygen tank ran empty! and why not if it will be for the sake of the whole mankind!

sorry guys, but one should be logical enough and think not only his own balls. we have bungee jumpers who proves nothing and die! we have race drivers who keep circling the oval adding destuction to the surroundings and die of no real purpose! why would you prevent me' supposing what i'm telling you is the only way, it is nothing compare to paying with uncertainty!

a person doesn't need to be so articulate when summarizing statement, he don't have to submit pages of stupid questions like these, if he doesn't understand what he's talking about. unfortunately, shallow and hollow opinions like those of the ten answerers, would be irrelevant against the question, because it should simply be understood as a probing inquiry, and not a ploy to earn a quick buck. now, I perceivedly understood how shallow and hollow peoples are when it comes to presenting someone's real motive.
the asked question should at least open something more realistic approach to discovering than keeping them on purely guessing game!

They would never let this happen. The government doesn't even like it if the military crashes a jet plane suicide style into the enemy. There's no way they would send someone to Mars on a one way trip. They being NASA, the US Government, and the public in general.

Now I could see something like this happening in the 1960s if you were a Russian Cosmonaut.

No. We already know that a human being cannot live on it's surface, and cannot breathe it's thin air. It would be a waste of 30 million dollars and a human life.

no..
You do not articulate yourself very well.
You need to be able to communicate effectively before you can be trusted w/ the possibility of the existence of mankind on another planet.
