Oprah is too politically correct. Dr. Phil is off the cuff. I love the use of his red neck analogies.

I don't watch Phil at all. He's a windbag.
I only watch Oprah if she has a guest on who I like.

Dr. Phil is a hack jerk who uses his time to belittle other people's shortcomings. Maybe I'm just not smart enough, but I don't see the therapeutic value in saying, "Are you kidding me? I mean, get real, honey" over and over when people are suckered into his ego-trip of a show.
As for Oprah, she was quite stirring in the film "The Color Purple," and though I know she does a lot for people as far as charity networks, etc, her show is nearly a parody of itself.

THAT'S TO HARD TO ANSWER. I LOVE BOTH SHOWS. OPRAH I JUST ADMIRE SO MUCH. SHE'S DONE SO MUCH FOR WOMENS ISSUES AND CHARITY WORK. DR.PHIL IS GREAT. I LOVE HIS NO NONSENSE WAY OF DEALING WITH PEOPLES PROBLEMS.

Neither. Modern TV has become a waistland of sex and violence mixed with many insipped reallity programs.
