I am going to start going coonhunting, and I am scared of the dark. Since you do this at night, I can't be scared anymore.

I have a major issue with the dark, but I find that if I concentrate on something, the fear usually subsides for a while. I guess if you concentrate on hunting for raccoons it'll get pushed off to the side... Hopefully.

I used to hate the dark too... But I got over it because I have sensitive eyes and I always wore sunglasses... and if i ever went walking or anything I would do it at night... it is quieter, more peaceful, and now I love the dark...

try listening to music while in a dark room... and just look around at the walls or whatever... you will get used to it..
it helped me...

I know that hypnosis can help with most phobias, for instance social anxiety in public speaking.
