What us women have to remember is that sometimes when a woman falls pregnant, the egg attach's to the womb but discontinues to divide and grow. The body rids itself of the egg resulting in your period, therefor being known as a chemical pregnancy. Also 50% of pregnancies end in a nautral miscarriage, very often in the early stages, and before the woman knows she is pregnent. However sometimes if pregnancy tests have been done at the right point a positive result may be shown, but a few days later the egg detaches and your period begins.

I doubt that a doctor could give you accurate results for testing for such a thing, but rest assured, if this has happened it WILL NOT affect your chances of a healthy pregnancy in the future. However if you weren't then your period may have been heavier due to it being late. Please put your mind at rest and see it that you werent, our your body knew the chemical structure was developing and continued a regular cycle for you, double with the fact that it was a nautral miscarriage.

Bloodwork will tell..but WHY would tjink this was a miscarriage rather than a period? Your numbers do NOT a miscarriage make...

wrong, wrong and.....WRONG! The doctor can tell IMMEDIATELY by a simple vaginal exam. GO to your doctor and tell him what you think may have happened.
