Well my comp can't connect to the internet, right now I am on my Wii online. The Wii and my bros comp are connected to my comp and work fine. My comp however doesn't. My firewall shows that I am sending out info but not receiving any. Also, ever since it stopped working I have received multiple alerts from Symantec antivirus of trojans that have been quarantined. So far it says 4 have been quarantined. Could this be the reason? This is urgent I need to be online tomorrow.

well i think you have a virus on your computer. I strongly recommend that you run a virus scan.

Yes!
Modern Virii are often polymorphic, which means they have many shapes. They change their name and hide in different places making them difficult to remove. The dead giveaway is the virii are quarantined..which means that your Anti Virus software could not delete them, instead it "put them in jail" where they could not (hopefully) harm your computer. The trouble with that is many of those virri have morphed into other areas of your computer and are doing their damage.
Either go to Norton website and type in the specific name of the virus, such as melissaw32.exe, and ask them for instructions to remove, or do the same on google.
Remember the difference between a virus and trojan is that you gave permission to download the trojan.
If the trojan/virus cannot be removed by the above method, it may be necessary to reformat your hard drive and reload the operating system. Next time, get kubuntu at www.kubuntu.org and say good by to the 114,000 viruses that infect Windows computers that do NOT affect Linux machines.

Update and run your Anti-Virus program. Don't have one? You can run a free online scan from CA.
