Woman can go into false labor at any time.....I went to the hospital at 20 weeks with my daughter, they had to give me a shot to stop my contractions. Good luck to you.

No that is not bad, it is completely normal. Women will start feeling braxton hicks as early as 4-5 months pregnant but they become more intense and often painful the further along they get. I am also due in March and a week or so ago I had real painful contractions that lasted for 3 hours. However if you are not dialating then it is nothing more than your body preparing itself for the real thing. Exercising if you will. false labor or severe braxton hicks is a good thing even though it does not feel like it at the time.

I went into pre-term labor at 34 weeks, and I'm guessing you're right around that same timeframe? It's not too bad, but they really like for you to carry the baby until at least the end of your 36th week to ensure baby's lungs are fully developed. It is important for baby's lungs to be fully developed so they can take in oxygen, as well as work through any fluids that get into their lungs during delivery. For me, they gave me a shot and a prescription for medication that stopped labor until I was at the end of my 36th week, and then they gave me the all-clear, so I stopped taking the pills. I had her 2 weeks later. :)

Braxton Hicks contractions can happen throughout pregnancy. With my first I didn't really get many until after 36 weeks, but with my second pregnancy I got them regularly from about 20 weeks. Drinking lots of water can help prevent them.
