for school, you will need an easy and natural look:
try tinted moisturzer, cheek tint (berry, maroon, fleshy pink) or bronzer, some pale shimmery or nude eyeshadow, an eyelash curler and some mascara. top it off with some lip gloss. you can go darker as you increase in age. its quick and easy and this look will separate your techniques from a formal or special occassion. if you wear heavy makeup at school people will not be stunned when there is a special occassion, it would be just normal for them to see you all made up. get it? use makeup to enhance not to make a theatrical spectacle of yourself. remember that heavy makeup makes you look ridiculously old and inappropriate.

Apply a pale pink or gold shadow in your creases. Above that, sweep a taupe shadow to highlight your eyebrows. Apply a black mascara to your top lashes, and highlight the inner corners of your eyes with a white. For blush, go with a simple pink and dab on lipgloss. Contour your face by rubbing the blush almost to your temples. At the bridge of your nose, sweep a matte color eyeshadow a shade or two lighter than your skin tone. To contour your jaws, apply a bronzer one or two shades darker than your skin tone to in the inside jawline, right underneath the sides of your jawbone. Rub that same shade bronzer on your temples, and your good to go.

probably a dark brown, black mascara to start.
if you JUST got permission, dont get too wild with the colors, so a neutral eyeshadow, pink or peachish lip color, and brown eyeliner.

Go to marykay.com. You can pick an online model that has similar features to you and then you can try all the colors on the virtual model. Then they tell you how to apply the makeup for any look you want.

Your best bet is to go to Sephora or other makeup stores and just try on different shades and colors to see what works best on your skin.

For brown eyes and tan skin, I recommend purple, light purple, pink, brown, and gold eyeshadow.

Good luck!

hey , i would say with that and going natural to use light and warm colors. shimmery bronze is beautiful shade of eye shadow ! that would look good on u! just go for it on uur lash line and use a angle brush. make a line of it on ur lash line . then go ahead and use lighter golds and !even browish pink to go on your upper eye ! i hope u luv the look ! have fun !
