Hi, I am so sorry about your miscarriage. I lost my baby on the 11th December 2006, I was 13 weeks pregnant but my baby had died 3 weeks earlier. I had an evacuation and they told me at the hospital that beeding was normal and could continue for several weeks - every woman was different.

I bled for 7 weeks at which point I was taken back into hospital. The original evacuation procedure had failed to remove everything and I had a very bad internal infection. I had tohave another evacuation and was on IV antibiotics for a week. I was extremely lucky not to have developed a serious problem. Please get yourself checked out at the doctors to make sure.

I'm sending you my love and thoughts, I know how devastated you will be feeling. Take care and god bless x

"The bleeding should stop 7-10 days after the miscarriage. If the bleeding goes on for longer than this, you may have an infection, which will require a course of antibiotics. They can be prescribed by your GP.
You should get your next period in around six weeks' time."

sorry to hear about your miscarrage - i hope this info helps a little x

yes it can take a few months to get back right, warm salt baths at least twice a day will do you good and don't run the risk of getting pregnant until you have had three normal periods, give you body time to heal and you mind, things will work out when your ready good luck.
