i am 8 months pregnant and for the last month have had trouble standing long enough to cook breakfast and i don't eat red meat so i am drinking an ensure in the morning for a quick breakfast and to get the protein is this o.k to do or should i not? any input is great thank you for your time.

I know of a few women who drink protein drinks during pregnancy. Check the label, if you shouldn't drink it whilst pregnant it should definitely say so.

If you're still unsure call your doctors surgery and just ask the nurse there, she will be able to help.

Lastly, you could always call the company that make the drink. There is normally either a telephone number, address or website on labels these days :)

I don't see why it would be a problem. I would mention it to your Dr at your next visit. You could also eat cereal.

this is a good sourse of protein,so i guess so it should be ok
