What websites could I use to find a house to rent?

It's just my mom and I. We have a dog, and we need a new house. We can't afford to but so we want to rent. Help please.

Go to the classifieds of your local paper online.
As a landlord I wouldn't use anything online with the exception of maybe craigslist........
or take out your yellowpages and look up property management companies.
