There are many different anteaters including aardvarks, giant anteaters, pangolins, echidnas etc and they range in size from small to very large. They are found in the Americas, Africa, Australia and Asia and probably in Europe. What eats them depends on their size and where they are. They would be eaten by any carnivore or raptor large enough to kill them.

A couple of steps removed. Producer (tree). Old roots of tree are eaten by termites (consumer). Termites are eaten by anteater (consumer).
