Sit him down and go over the finances point by point. Have a heart to heart conversation concerning shared financial goals and come to a solid agreement. After you both come to a mutual agreement you now have a compass to judge his spending habits. Either his actions are congruent to your financial goals or they are not but most important you have solid ground to hold your ground and bring an element of reason to his spending.

Take total control of the finances!
Give him a small allowance, and cut up or confiscate any credit cards he has.
Tell him it's so your future together will be prosperous. If he objects, too damn bad!
He sounds pretty immature.....maybe some counseling would help him to curb his juvenile desires!

Does he know that you are trying to save money for a house? You need to create a budget, together, that shows what you make, what your bills are, what you need to save, etc. Maybe hubby just doesn't have a clue what the finances look like.

Have him get a 2nd job.
Or tell him he can have it as soon as you earn the money, and ad that you are waiting for a call from a pimp.

I had this problem.

You have to take over complete control of the finances and give him an allowance.

Kick his selfish dumbass to the curb. He only thinks about himself and what he wants. He's not interested in you, your feelings or your need for a little stability and security.
