Actually I dont think that sex and love really have that much to do with each other.. They could go together, but its not necessary at all..

YES my dear i say this as a male because i very near in the past fell in love with a lady.
I as a guy always used to think we men think with our little head but there are special moments when there comes a woman who causes respiratory problems and heart aches and sleepless nights and yet you would never even think of her in a situation which degrades her.
Thats platonic love it transends physical boundaries and makes you feel detached from this materialistic world there is no room for penis or vagina here only the desire to live because that someone special is the the one thing you would like to see.
I'am an indian guy and i fell in love with an american lady when she came to india and i hope where ever she is , she is happy and the man she is with cherishes what he has .

Why would it not exist?
Love does not always include sex. Sex can be included in love, not the other way around.

I love a lot of people that I would really rather not have sex with. Yes, I'm sure it exists.

Of course it exists. Don't you love your best friends? You love your family members, right? You don't have sex with friends or family, right? Maybe I'm assuming too much here, but generally, people love their friends and family and that love doesn't include sex.

It can exist, especially between those separated greatly in age, so there is much less chance of a sexual attraction.
