Try to unlock it in a mobile shop...It costs only five pounds...Alternately you have some websites which unlock mobiles on line...Google it...

Depending on how long you have had your phone orange might unlock it for nothing. But i you take it down your local independent mobile phone shop will be able to do it for about £5-10. Or if you have a market hall in your town theres probably a mobile stall selling 2nd hand mobiles. Probably cost you again £5-10.

I have a Sagem mobile that was locked by Orange. I went to a shop in Aylesbury (there are others all over the place) and they had to virtually demolish it to do the necessary but it only cost me £10.

There are many different web-sites that can help you unlock your phone. T-mobile unlocks the phone for you, if you request, bug Cingular wouldn't ever do that. Search around the internet a little
