hello every one iam 4 months pregnant and i am beginning to experience fetal movements if thats what they are im not sure because sometimes i feel movements in my lower belly then other times in my side then up by my rib cage i mean they are every where wis this the baby

Yes that is the baby moving!! Congrats its a wonderful feeling except when your trying to sleep and when they kick you in the ribs. lol enjoy it

If you are feeling movements anywhere other than between the belly button and your pubic hair then it is not the baby. At 4 months pregnant your uterus has not expanded up towards your rib cage yet. Making it impossible to feel the baby up there, unless your baby is not in the uterus-which I seriously doubt. as I am sure you are feeling the bay move a little in your lower abdomen the other feelings you are having up towards your rib cage is you digestive system, ie, gas, bubbles, the digesting of food etc. In early pregnancy many people mistake gas and other digestive track feelings for fetal movement. You will not feel the babies movement that far up until you are further along. Congratulations on your pregnancy

Your uterus is not as high as your rib cage yet. Probably not quite above your belly button even.

when i was pregnant i never felt my daughter kick but what i did feel was like wave like movements,and each time she moved it seemed like she was in a differed position,which was perfectly normal
