my bf can do it does it hurt like crap?

Okay to help you do this face backwards from a wall and then put ur hands on the wall and look at ur hands and keep going down and down until you get to floor and after u accomplish this then try doing it with out the wall(BE SURE TO STRETCH FIRST)

It doesn't hurt if you're flexible enough. There are many different types of back bends but you're probably talking about a bridge. There are three ways to do one. The easiest way is to lay on your back and push yourself up into it. Another way is to stand with your back against a wall then wall a couple steps forward. Swing your arms over your head and walk them down the wall. GO VERY SLOW. If you go too fast your likely to fall sideways and might get hurt. (I had a bad experience with this once =/ )To do it the harder way, stand in an area where you can't bump into anything and gently arch your back then swing your arms over your head for a better stretch. Once you maintain balance slightly bend your knees until your hands touch the floor. It takes practice but just about anyone can do it. For most people, the flexibility goal is to get their head to to their seat.
