i need an idea for a story but i dont know what......plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ♥?

To start a story you must want others to know your thoughts, know what you know, or just want to intertain.
So today is cold and wet, I am sitting here answering questions wishing i could do something else...what are you thinking about..
There's your story. OR try just doing a search on something..maybe you will see a word and that will spark something. Reading always gets your mind working.

You didn't give much to go on--what genre are you interested in? Is it a writing project where there are a certain number of words? Or are you writing for fun? Is it fanfic?

I love brainstorming, so I'll try to come up with some plot ideas in different genres to get you going.

Historical fiction:
Amos lives in Kentucky in 1861. His father has joined the Union Army, but his older brother, Josh, has gone South to join the Confederates. What does Amos do?

Romance:
No one knew the name of the stranger who came to town. All they knew is he had money, which he spent frugally on a lonely house at the edge of the lake. An ad in the paper attracted Rachel: Help wanted-general housekeeping and company.

Horror:
She shivered as she tried to do her homework....hard to do algebra while babysitting in this old house in the country. What was that noise? The baby crying--or something else?

Adventure
David never dreamed that flying a light plane through the mountains would be so thrilling--or so dangerous. White out conditions--instruments not working--a sure crash on the side of the mountain unless he could land--and then how could he survive the blizzard?

Mystery (obviously my favorite genre)
Jack opened the door to his flat. Tired after a long day in court, he went to the bathroom to take a hot soak. But when he switched on the light, all plans changed. The trail of blood led to the blonde in the tub, who was very dead. Trouble was, she had just won a major case against Jack the week before, and there had been very public fireworks between the two. What to do? Call the cops and be in for it, or try, somehow, to find the killer himself?

Comedy
Winter is time for hibernation. But it is not wise to hibernate long, especially when Valentine's Day is coming up, and you have two sweeties that aren't supposed to know about one another...

Hope some of these ideas will help. If it's fanfic you're writing, take the main character of your favorite movie or TV show and have him suddenly meet his real-life counterpart--the actor who plays the character.

Too many love story is out there. but there will always be someone who will like it. you either write better love stories or write a really really unusual love story or write about something else.

I like the idea of a love story for the family. The love of a daughter for her father and the responsibility as the eldest daughter to her family. The sacrifices that she has to make after and before her father dies. (not in an incest way NOOO!!). Because the most important people in our life is our family.

This is what I do when I have writers block. I create a character or I take a character I've already created and I start channel surfing. At each channel I stop and wonder, what would my character do in this situation. Eventually I get a good Idea.

let me tell you a love story there was a guy who is indian and fall in love with a pakistan girl in there high school. know you can add anything to make this fun and romatic and but there end is that the guy got his best friend Kiran sister love but she loved him b/c she do not want to break his heart. she told him the truth at the last moment when he cant live without her and need her. He made a big mistake that he made her his weakness and know he is weak and she dumped him and found someone else b/c she love that person. he trusted that girl more than his life and know he is alone and sufering and want to die or kill himself. The girl he loved dont care **** about him and he knows about that thing but he still love that girl and care about her and want her love. But know he decided to live his life alone and take care of his parents and become a rich man and change his all look. after 5 yrs he meet that girl whom he loved and she is all shocked looking his personlite and fall in love with him but he do not realy care about it now b/c he is devdas and sad and still do not marry anyone b/c he was so broken heart and do not want to marry anyone not even the girl he loved but he still love her b/c he is his devdas but he is so broken that he do not trust anyone nad want to live his life alone and when the girl got to know that she is all sad and broken b/c she is the one who broke his heart and made him weak but he is strong from outside but from inside he is weak like a bird locked in a cage and suffering to come out.
