I was going to write a movie about Jimi Hendrix but I heard somebody in the music industry was going to write a movie about Hendrix. I think Kravitz has the music talent and experience to be able to play Hendrix? Do you Think Kravitz would be a goood pick for Hendrix??

The has been talk for years about a movie on Hendrix, usually with Lawrence Fishburn as Jimi.
Kravitz can play guitar, but so what? He would have to learn Hendrix's style and showmanship to really pull it off. Prince might be another possiblitiy to consider, plus he has a bit of acting experience. Either way they are going to have to shoot this "in a mirror" (flip the image on screen) to get Hendrix playing left-hand.

It seems that Lenny models alot of his style & look from Jimmy. His music lyrics are also is reminiscent of Hendrix. He's perfect 4 the part; hes been almost living the charactor most of his life

i think that lenny cravitz would be ideal for the role,but what about will smith and jamie foxx,they have musical background

prince would be better , there were rumours years ago that prince was gonna take this part but it came to nothing.
