i wanted to go for coffee but everyone seemed to be wtih their friends and i would feel people did not want to talk to me, i sat next to one woman some of the small groups are nice but i wonder if i will ever get on their like other people although some say thier is an inner circle in the church.

If your not feeling that church go to another one. If people don't talk to you maybe thats not the place for you. I think in a place of worship the people should be friendly and inviting. Visit other churches

Try a different church. Start your own small group for people who are new. Or just ask to be included- the worst they could do is say NO and then you really should change Church's.

this is not a church i would care to belong to, a church is a place for us all to be able to come together and worship the Lord there is good people out there and good churches that you dont have to feel like you have to keep up with the Jones and i am sure such a place would be very gossipy as well/that goes against the word of God,find a church that appreciates you and keep going ..........God Bless You

I think you are a person of strong faith, but it sounds to me like you need human company more than worship at the moment.
Remember, you can worship your god anywhere. Look for friends in other places - perhaps take up a hobby or go to evening classes on a subject that interests you.

you need to switch churches
churches are saposed to outreach and make you feel welcome,not an outcast
try going to a different church next week and see how you like it. I fyou dont, try another one there are hundreds of churches out there that are open and accepting.

That is so dreadful but 'institutions' like that usually have cliques. Why not try the local gym/swimming pool, some really nice folks frequent those places.
