The purpose of homework is not to be fun, it's to reinforce what you learned in class and to help you practice. It helps teachers know which areas the class is fine with and what needs more work. It can also be a good "cushion" for your grades.
While it may not be fun, it is useful and necessary.

Homework is only a bummer when you are forced to do it. If have been out of school a few months and I love studying - even on weekend. Once I am assigned work, I put it off.
Homework can be fun if you really have an interest in the topic. Dont view learning as a negative...
Good luck!

It's not supposed to be fun. It's an exercise to reinforce your learning. You are going to have a rude awakening if you think life is fun and games.

As a teacher, I can tell you that MARKING homework isn't fun. But yeah, I can see its value and just grit my teeth and bear it.
