The idea is that GEICO is supposed to be incredibly easy to use. I think maybe the advertising agency has ADD because they sort of went off on a tangent that has nothing to do with insurance.

it starts with the slogan "geico.com, so easy a caveman can do it" The rest is just funniness so you'll remember the slogan. And, yes, it is sorta making fun of discrimination, but more teh overly sensitive types who think that everything is discriminatroy. And they really, really need to be made fun of more.

I love their commercials sooo funny!!! IT's in my eyes showing the world is too politically incorrect, always ending up hurting someones feelings no matter how much you tip toe around you end up offending someone.
I like the commercials and hope they make more.
I mean come on people dont'cha think we're a little too sensitive at times. Thank You

Geico's message: Switching to Geico is very simple and easy.
Geico expresses this message in the form of a joke poking fun at prejudice, discrimination, and political correctness.
Why do people have trouble understanding this? It's so simple even a caveman gets it. Duh!

Geico.com. So easy a caveman can do it.
It is referring to how easy it is to switch to Geico.
You must be a caveman if you don't get it :)

They were very racially sensitive they used cavemen instead of Neanderthal Man, because saying it was so easy a Neanderthal Man could do it would be insulting to the Neanderthal race, even though they are extinct, political correctness does go to extremes.

They are supposed to be funny. The first one was a little humorous but they have gotten boring and predictable.
