Viagra is not to be used without advice from a physician. In men who only have an occasional "hard to get em up time" but no physical ailment preventing it, it can cause priapism (which is an extraordinarily painful event, generally making a very embarrassing emergency room trip necessary.)
That condition, if not treated, can cause permanent damage to the functional structures of the organ.
Occasional difficulty is very normal, albeit for some men, it can be embarrassing. If this is more than an occasional difficulty, please seek advice from a general practice doctor or urologist to make sure you do not have a structural problem causing this difficulty.
There are other medications now that are used instead of Viagra that have fewer side effects and less risk for cardiac episode/priapism.

You need to get an examination by your physician because there are life threatening complications when Viagra is combined with other conditions. If your doctor approves, he or she can write you the prescription. The most important thing is to get medical clearance before using the drug. Once you have that you can investigate more cost effective ways of purchasing the drug. Most doctors are sensitive to the fact that ED (erectile dysfunction) is difficult for many men to confront because of the effect it has on their self image. I encourage you to get beyond those concerns and get good medical follow-up.

As everyone else said, you must be checked by a doctor to be sure that it won't interact badly with your body, or with other drugs you take. Viagra (and Cialis and Levitra) can cause serious problems if incorrectly prescribed.
See your doc.

You doctor can give you a script. You'll see ads offering it w/o a script, but you have no way of knowing what, exactly, you just choked down. Make it bigger? or Make it fall off? Not worth the risk in my book.
