I have a RAZR from Sprint. An icon shows up with 3 up arrows and 3 down arrows that are pink. What is this?

This icon will not go off of my phone. I've tried taking the battery out, turning the phone off but to no avail. It's not even listed in my phone's user guide!

It usually means that you have some type of data connection that is currently taking place. Probably Ev Do if it is from Sprint. Try looking here for more info, this is a great site to ask questions at: www.cellphoner.net
