Hey guys,
i need to know when corporations have acted well, like for example w/ the tylenol case of how they recalled every bottle because they didnt have tamper proof seals, and did it for the benefit of the people. If u have any insights, please tell me.

Unfortunately, at least in the Western world, capitalist ventures have never showed the slightest hint of ethical behavior when doing the right thing came into the way of making money, ever since capitalism started in the 1200s... ven then, it was mostly lending money at punishing usury rates, which by the standards of the time was a sin rating excommunication, but it was done anyway... and has not gotten better in the meanwhile.

EDIT : Oh, and when the "ethical" behavior is for show and PR (like widely publicized charitable action, and that is tax deductible in the first place), or for fear of liability hurting the Holy Bottom Line, I don't call it showing moral standards, just savvy and basic money sense.

there has been many recalls . there was a recall on my 99 Grand Am The glove box could fly open during a crash and hurt someone. But that is all because of regulations by our Federal government. If they have a previous knowledge and do nothing. They could be sued into Chapter 13 and people could even go to jail. The best Corporations that act with moral stadards are like. Feedthechildren.org or other Corporation Charities..
