The other day I was jerking off and found blood in my semen. As you could tell I was going into extreme panic. Today I whacked off again and was relieved to see no blood. I'm planning to call the doctor anyway to see what was the deal. Problem is, I'm 15 and don't know how to approach this with my parents. Should I say "Mom, theres blood in my semen, can I call the doctor?" Last time something serious happened on an unrelated spot on my body the doctor said, "We're 99% sure its nothing." But my mom had me go through surgery anyway. Im afraid that she might over-react again or worse, stand next to me every second Im on the computer.

Going to dad rather than mom is probably a good idea. Trust me he masterbated at your age and does now. Blood is not normal and you should seek medical attention. I would not lie and say you were having sex, that gives parents a whole new set of problems to deal with. Be honest and explain. Dad will help.

Another option might be planned parenthood. They will see girls why not boys. I don;t know.

good luck and see a doctor.

well, first, it sounds as though talking to your dad is not an option, and your mom is the one you talk to about these things. so assuming that,

1. i would not lie about having sex; that's just silly, and will require that you lie more down the road and submit yourself to even more awkward situations with your mom & probably more medical people.
2. i wouldn't lie about why you need to see the doctor either.

what i would do is either:

1. tell your mom that you want to see the doctor, but that you'd rather not discuss why, and that you'd like to go in alone.
2. go with the other answerer's suggestion about Planned Parenthood. they DO see males; you'll just have to wait in a waiting room for a long time with a bunch of girls, and that might be annoying. it could actually take a long time, even if you have an appointment. but DO schedule an appointment, or you could literally be there all day. try to make your appointment for first thing in the morning (of course on a saturday so you won't miss school), and be prepared and sit and wait.

moms do worry... it's unfortunate that you're going to have to deal with that on top of your own worry. but it sounds like you've got a good head on your shoulders! i'm sure you'll be fine. =) good luck!

At your age you should be able to see your doctor without your parents even knowing you have been. My guess is that the blood that was in your semen was caused by you being a little vigorous and got a slight tear in your foreskin. Which is normal with a lot of boys.

aww man, i feel for you. jacking off is a regular thing and everyone does it, even your parents! I would go to my dad before i would my mom. if you are to embarrassed to admit you were doing that, just say you were haveing sex and there was blood in the condom.

Go ahead and tell her the truth. Better safe than sorry, am I right? I'm sorry I don't know what it could possibly be.
