Due to the results I was denied a job. Do I have a case with the EEOC for employment discrimination because they asked religious questions on a test that would determine my ability to be hired?

You may have a case. There are STRICT requirements and limitations for the use of personality test in hiring. This sounds very inappropriate to me. Check with EEOC and also check with a personnel lawyer.

Yes! You cannot be denied a job due to race, color, creed or religion. This is America. We still have freedom of religion...Thank God! First of all, I don't think they are allowed to ask those kinds of questions in the interview process at all. When I used to interview people, we we'rent allowed to ask any religious questions at all. The closest would be can you work on Sundays? Call the EEOC and talk to them about it. Good luck!

You may have a case - if you could show that it was the reason you were denied employment and that it was a religious question. What was the question?
