File a POP (personal protection order) on her, when she drives by your house, get it on video, if she leaves voice mails, keep them. Get signed affidavits from the people she's talked about you to, because if it's affecting your business...and what she is saying ISN"T true...you have a case for slander. Build up as much documentation as possible. She is stalking you, and there are laws against that now.
The next question to answer would be: What happened that started all this? You didn't address that in your post.

File a harrassment complaint. Then a restraining order. You can sue for slander, but that is a hard sell. If she bothers you after this you can have her arrested. Is there anyway you can prove she is calling you, or slandering you. If she is driving past you home, that can be considered stalking in some states. Make sure you tell the police about this and ask them about the laws in your area for surveillance. If you record her illegally you can end up in worse trouble than she will be in, lol. If the police has enough police officers you can request they keep a close eye on your neighborhood also.

Go to the captain at the police dept don't mess with the patrolmen and let him know what's going on and he should be able to offer you some suggestions on the way you need to go .There is a such a thing as slander and defamation of character and they both are crimes ,and the driving by your home constantly is stalking here in N.C. and it's punishable by law as well .I hope this helps you .I know how people like that can destroy a good person and it always seems the bad guys always and keep on getting away with bad things and it'd not fair.Don't feel guilty about not being nice you HAVE to protect your good name.

Call your cell phone company and complain that you are getting harrassing phone calls, they should allow you to change your phone number for free. I would suggest reporting this to the police, especially if she is constantly driving by your house. It may also be helpful to have a police report if you do decide to file a claim. It wouldn't hurt to just stop by or call them, without formally filing anything, they could explain to you the proper course of action for something like this. You could simply also tell this person if they don't stop, you are going to report them to the police.. maybe that would be enough for them to stop.

It sounds like you don't want to do anything about it.
Your options are either go to the police or do nothing..............
Also, if this person is telling the truth about you - then it isn't slander.
