What do you think is the most dangerous threat to the U.S.?

I am a political science student in university and I had learned this in my poli. sci. classes. I was surprised of what the answer was because it wasn't any answer of popular belief or something obvious. Yet, I wonder what would be the answers of other people. Thanks!

We continue to vote our freedoms away in exchange for a few securities, comforts, and free passes. We continue to complain about how the government has failed us yet we do so little to provide for ourselves. We weep at the losses of fallen citizens and lay the blame on those in authority who are forced to make unpopular decisions such as sending these courageous individuals to fight, give their lives, and leave their loved ones behind- all for what is really most important to this great nation- FREEDOM! And we as a society have lost the priority of and the will to care.

Sad thing is, it just may take something so devastating to turn it back around- which wouldn't have been nearly as big of a threat as the endangered principal upon which this great nation was founded.

Global warming is causing some serious changes in this planet. Most of the US's major cities are either situated on coast lines or fault lines. Meaning either ocean storms or earth quakes can total allot of America's major economy contributors.

Our VERY OWN commercial food and milk supply-most consumers dont have a clue about the unsanitary conditions in meat and poultry factories, or about the toxic chemicals that are allowed in commercial foods. I think the FDA is our biggest threat, by a mile. If you care to research it a bit, you will see what I mean.
