I have an excellent life, and it would be so even without the various material things I have accumulated over the years. My loving wife is very much a part of my life and my happiness.

I am very happy with my life, I do not have alot of material things nor do I wish to have them, I have everything I need, the wants are really just a way to substitute for what is lacking in your lilfe.
Not to say that I never had bad things happen, but overall my life is good and yes I am very content with it.

If I have to be a human being then yes I would say that I have a good life. But when I think about the endless possibilities of what could evolve from the universe it seems that there has got to be much better ways of experiencing creation than through this fragile, susceptible, frightened, and neurotic form known as a human being.

My life has been a strange mixture of hell and heaven, ups and downs. Happiness and contentment are very fleeting. An angry word from a teacher, boss or loved one can ruin your happiness for a time (5 minutes or the rest of your life.) You can't control happiness but if you make an effort to be happy it helps.
My conclusion is that I try to be useful. Then sometimes I am happy but it is less important than doing something useful.

As Gene Simmons' mother says, any day above ground is a good day... As I am writing this, I'm fully aware of the circumstances around the world, and in my own life. And even though it's not all peaches and cream, I'm in the process of realizing that we live in momentous times, and it's something to see, really. And even though I could say that my life could be better, I inherently know that as it is, it's just fine.

ABSOLUTELY !!! I am happy to simply wake up each day. After waking up, the day pretty much goes well every time. As for material things, I rather have the money just sitting there than all the crap in my house that it can buy.
My husband and I joke and laugh EVERYDAY and we tell each other how much we appreciate each other.
Life is what you make it, we all get to choose... I CHOOSE to be happy plain & simple !!

I would say absolutely. I am blessed and content because I know that my future is secured in God. I also believe that it is hard for others to be truly happy and content without the stability and grace that God gives to us. He came to give us life and to give it abundantly and I have exactly that. I do experience trials and sorrow, but I also receive the comfort and peace that God gives.

Yes, I am comfortable. I would someday like a husband, but being single and independent has its benefits. No big rush here.I just would like to see us-all humans-take better care of the environment.

Better to have a horrible life and live, than to never have lived at all.
