I hear you girl, if you are enjoying yourself, and getting things done is there any harm in that? However if you start getting angry towards other members of your family, because they do not meet your higher standards of meticulous organization, then it is time to seek help, or volunteer in places like your local library, where everything must be in its proper place and in order, or at your local hospital, if they have an occupational therapy center, they have craft rooms that often need tidying up, and seriously people do make a living by organizing everything from kitchens to closets for a price... Have you ever watched Mission Organization or Neat on TV, that is what these people do, they also give you more ideas to make your life more efficient, which is what you are doing, some people waste half of their time trying to find things they have misplaced, when if they were organized they could jump right into the task.

No. If this individual with OCD is prepared to bathe your domicile for funds and you're prepared to pay what he or she asks, the two one in all you have entered right into a consensual and at the same time useful working relationship. i could be apprehensive which you would be on the quick end of the morality stick on condition that the OCD individual's standards of order and cleanliness could very much outpace your very own and you'd be charged for time and jobs on which you hadn't meant.

Exposure and Response Prevention is a type of behavioral therapy that may be of some benefit. See if you can find a therapist who specializes in that form of therapy because the average therapists focuses on helping you gain insight into what is going on for you and that is not usually helpful for OCD.
