A positive test is a positive test. Some test strips are more sensitive than others, so it could be that the first strip was more sensitive and the one today wasn't as good, even if it's the same brand. Even in the same box!

You're most likely pregnant! False positives are not very common.

Congratulations!

The same thing happened to me about 2 months before i was actually pregnant. I don't know why it happened, but my theory is that maybe your body actually conceived, but is not really ready to sustain a pregnancy, so it releases it, and you just happened to test on the day that the pregnancy hormone was present. There is a really high percentage of pregnancies that terminate themself before the woman ever knows she's pregnant (something like 50- 75%). You (and I) probably just had crazy timing and tested on the day it happened. However, no worries- 2 months later, I tested again, and i am now in my 6th month of a very healthy pregnancy!!! :)

Once you have a positive pregnancy test you are pregnant. A false negative can occur if maybe you had too much to drink last night and diluted the urine too much even if it was FMU. Congradulations!

False positives are rare but possible, but with what you've said you most likely are, doctor will confirm this for you!

Where they the same brand of test? If not... The first one might have had more sensitivity to the HCG levels and detected your pregnant and the second one gave you a false negative .
I've never heard of a false positive only false negative.

Very unusual. perhaps you have been in basic terms temporarily pregnant...yet i do no longer think of that would desire to be achieveable. Did you utilize all of the comparable point of sensitivity exams?? in case you took 4 exams right this moment and that they've been all unfavorable you're in all probability no longer pregnant. while you're taking the attempt with first morning urine there will be greater of the being pregnant hormone in there so attempt that.

The test you took today may have had a higher sensitivity than the one from yesterday or your urine may not have been as concentrated as it was yesterday.
