I definitely love 2D, though some supplemental 3D isn't bad for some parts.

sometimes people get too excited about the technology part and they forget about the plot. So I have to say 2D

Both forms have their pluses and minuses, but I lean more towards 2D, because you don't need super nice graphics to tell a good story.
