The trails to Gitmo are limited because of all of the water.
Terrorists should also "play by the beloved rules" instead of beheading prisoners. There is a difference and the terrorists, and they will get TRIALS, but war tribunal is a better way then our constitution (and that is because that is reserved for Americans)

To all of the many idiots here: The US supreme cout (with a 5-4 advantage in republicans) ruled that the US has to give due process of law- aka, a fair trial under the geneva conventions, which do have the force of law in the USA, wethere the other side folows tehm or not. The protections are higher if the other side is following them as well, but even if they are not, there are basic protections. And we are legally bound to follow those.
Not allowing fair trilas is Breaking the law, and in specific violation of the Constitution. Remember that.
And without giving them a trial to find out the facts of the case, how do we even know that they're terrorists?

Consider this in the course of the trail they have to show how they got the evidence in doing so you have to expose national secrets.
You in sense have just given the bad guys the blue print how you are going after them.
So they can change their plans.
Now Geneva convention is for nations fighting nations.
Both sides have to agree to follow the rules. Are Muslim terrorists following the rules.

In WW 2 we didn't have terrorists. The enemy was a whole different type and you can't treat these terrorists like you treated the Germans. As for it being a Republican thing how in the world can you pin it on just the Republicans??

They are not citizens and are not entitled to a U.S. citizens rights. In these troubled times they should keep a low profile and not put themselves in a position of being arrested and detained.

Because we do not like people who come into our country, take advantage of our freedoms, hospitality, and openness FOR THE EXPRESS PURPOSE OF KILLING US.
Time for one of us to take a break. This stupidity is pissing me off.

I'm sure all of there trails are either made of concrete or nice and smooth. If they trip on one of our trails we should fix it.

Don't be an idiot. The US government will do whatever it wants because it, and the country itself, is populated by egotistical arrogant b**tards.
