A brand new PC? I mean there is only a few things that cause slowness.

1)Virus, spyware, and adaware. If you are sure this is not the case then there are other suggestions. If not, then scan the machine.

2)A network issue. It could be that your ISP is having an issue. It could be the dslam you are on, or even the port on the dslam. You can try contacting them, so ISP's (like the one I work for) can reprovision the line and test for noise db on the line.

3)A PC issue. It could be a simple result of the hardware. I tend not to suggest that to customers til a last option.

Do you know what speed you are paying for?

Do you have another machine you can hook up to see if it is still running slow?

you have gotten your community card set to 0.5-duplex which will cut back your speed, you would be able to desire to to alter that and placed it to finished duplex ( it is going to be like that by utilising default). If that would not restoration it, you would be working something on the os that's inflicting your computing device to run sluggish on the cyber internet.

You might have your network card set to half-duplex which will limit your speed, you might want to change that and put it to full duplex ( it should be like that by default). If that doesn't fix it, you might be running something on the os that's causing your pc to run slow on the internet.
