I meant "wear" and not "where". A careless mistake. No big deal to a fair-minded person. I am not a terrorist. I mostly disagree with terrorist tactics, especially the killing of innocent people.

There is SOME truth in the statement though that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

One of the reasons why terrorists are so good at what they do is because they do not wear uniforms. That is what helps to inspire the fear they crave--their ability to blend in anywhere. You probably would not be able to recognize a terrorist--you usually can not determine a persons political inclinations just by looking at them [You remember, don't judge a book by its cover...?]. That's right, political beliefs. While most terrorists have strong religious beliefs--they are actually acting on their political beliefs when engaging in terrorism. Therefore, you would never recognize a terrorist without following them around like the FBI or CIA.

Do they hate freedom? I am sorry but that is just stupid. Of course they don't hate freedom. They hate being forced to do things they do not want to do--by countries that are bigger and stronger--and do not share any cultural or moral values with them. You see, the truth of the matter is--they LOVE FREEDOM. They love it so much--like our founding fathers--they are willing to die for it. They yearn and long for their own freedom...true freedom that can not be "given" to them by us. Because--and here is the kicker--we do not offer them real freedom. Everything the US "gives" has strings attached--nothing is for free. In exchange for this "freedom" we are giving them--we now have the right [supposedly] to push our beliefs and culture on them through television, radio, internet, marketing ploys, and American products etc.

So. No, you will never be able to identify a terrorist and no, they don't hate freedom. If you look back through history you will notice that there have been many times when terrorism has been used...Boston Tea Party, for example. Did they hate freedom? Of course not.

Just remember, caring about something passionately is enough to turn anyone into a terrorist--whether it be the love of another person [stalking] or the love of freedom. It is only through the moderation of this passion--that all voices have an opportunity to be heard and all people are able to participate as equals.

No they do not where uniforms. They may or may not hate all freedom. Generally by the time you recognize a terrorist it is too late, you're being ripped to pieces before you can react.

Thats what is scary about terrorists, they don't dress differently a lot of the time and can be your next door neighbor and you wouldn't know it.

1. No

2. No

3. You cannot unless they identitfy themselves as being such. I don't think I've ever heard of a terrorist that describes him or herself as a 'terrorist'.
