A couple friends of mine are republicans and like bush but would change their thinking of him if I could prove that he has lied or has done things to impact the countries well being. I need facts from places that are reputible.. anything against bush will help!

Thanks

molly ivins just died, you might have heard about it (or not). she went to high school with w. and wrote a book about his disastorous administration... as govenor of tx, before he was APPOINTED president.
try anything she wrote about him, it will open your friend's eyes quickly.

First of all why are you trying to change their minds if you don't have evidence already? Secondly, whether a president is republican or democrat they all make mistakes. I think that people should stop trying to make a president look bad simply because he is a republican or democrat. If you knew that a democrat was doing something wrong would you still support him just because he was a democrat? I think it is time people start judging a man by his character, not what his political party is. Why don't you also look at all the good Bush has done while he has been in office as well as the bad. It isn't all negative. Lastly, don't believe everything that you hear, it sounds like you need to do some research for yourself and decided what party you really are instead of listening to heresay. Political parties are a waste of time. Look at the person't record and ethical standings. Also if not Bush than who? and why? This isn't about one man this is also about the people who supported him enough to elect him. And if you simply don't like him because of this war, then why don't you think about all the other presidents in our history who have had to lead their country through war and then think about if they hadn't (despite the fact that the people didn't like him) where we would be today. We would likely not be the US we would be part of England or worse France or Spain! Or we would be two separate countries, the North and the South. OR other countries would still be suffering because we hadn't stepped in. Or Nazi Germany really could have taken over the world. Sometimes hard decisions have to be made and they don't make everyone happy. Just be thankful that YOU don't have to make the decisions.

You won't be able to change their minds. Almost everything out there, whether it's a republican source or a liberal source, can be refuted. Why do you want to change their minds? Why don't you just be their friend.

Then it should be up to them to do their own research if they are having doubts. But, they are still going to believe what they believe. There are so many sources out there. Some that is more liberal and some more conservative. It's not easy finding something that is not biased regarding politics.

How I choose to decide is to watch the news from most networks. I listen to more conservative news stations and more liberal news stations and come up with my own conclusions in between. This is what they should do. They need to read, watch the news and pay attention to the biased and partisaned nuances.

You say Bush is a bad president but you don't have any information or proof to show your friends???? In other words you listen to what your folks are saying about him and that's what you go by rather than figure it out for yourself?!!! No wonder why the Democrats want 17 yr olds to vote!! They can indoctrinate their kids and force them to vote!

Like every other Liberal does, and that's pull it out of the sky sort of like Michael Moore did. Are you going to show them the Dem's quotes, and votes to go to war, supporting the war? Here's a couple for you...

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

So if you cannot find evidence then what is your reason to dislike him?I get it,just to hate.Pathetic,I base what I believe and how I believe of facts, not on hatred.
