You do not NEED a certain amount of credits to become a senior. However, if you want to graduate, you need a certain amount of credits by the time you finish Highschool. The amount of credit your school requires depends on the country & state & district you live in. I would suggest talking to a counciller or a teacher,

Well, it really depends on where you go to school. For example, I go to a private school and I have a minimum of 26 credits needed to graduate from high school. For senior year at my school a student takes the classes that are mandatory and then, if necessary, they take electives. A senior here at my school takes a minimum of 6 credits their senior year. Hopefully this helps a little, if not, the guidance counselor is helpful and if you know which college you are thinking of going to , they will tell you how many credits you you need to get accepted there!

Every school has a different system that depends on a lot of different factors such as whether you had middle school or junior high and if you're on a block calendar or not. Every high school is different so the best way to find out is to ask your guidence counselor or look in your student handbook if your school provides you with one.

It would depend on your school policies. I went to one school my freshman year and transferred to another one at the beginning of my sophomore year. At the new school I was 1.5 credits short of being a senior, even though I had only attended one year of high school.

You must satisfactorily complete the curriculum for your junior year. In college it takes approximately 90 semester hours to become a senior.

Each school is different, your best bet is to talk with a counselor to see what it would take to be a senior. Who knows you may already be half way there.
