That liitle white thing in the middle of the pizza is a coffee table to eat the pizza on. It will also hold your drink if its a real small pizza. I thought everybody knew that. :)

It is to keep the pizza in place and to keep cheese from sticking to the top of the box if the lid gets pushed down more than what it should be.

i work at pizza hut and they told me that they put it in a box to stop the top from smashing it when you have to stack pizzas. normally you get one if you have more than one pizza.
