My boyfriend has torn a muscle in his shoulder at work, many months ago. He's been to the docs and that, but it is still sore sometimes when he hasn't used it for a while. He is starting to build the muscle back up my rotating hot and cold pressures, lifting cans and muscle rub/massages. Is there anything else that anyone could suggest to help his healing process?

Yes it must be surgically repaired if it is actually torn. The big problem is actually determining if it is torn or sprained. If it is sprained or strained, it will eventually repair or the existing fibers will make up for the damaged ones. It took ten years for me to find a surgeon that was willing to fix mine. Shoulder surgery is the most painful and slowest healing of all. It takes three months in a sling with full range of passive motion several times a day, and takes six months before the healing id complete. If it tears again, You are screwed.
I just went through that and am ok now. It is a difficult decision to make. Good luck.

Dental Hygeine....stay on top of this.

Good mental health

Your mouth (oral) and foot care are of extreme importance, as they open your entire body up to a wide variety of illness.
