Heck no. It shouldn't be banned because people may not have any means to acquire the music they are interested in. For example, if I like a particular song on an album, do you think I should buy the whole cd just to listen to one song? Besides, all these artists have millions and billions of dollars. Let us regular folks get our fair share of free stuff.

whenever I feel sympathy for the artist, I just watch an episode of "Cribs" and see what luxurious lives they have, then I download a bunch of music.

they make a fortune off concerts and selling out to Nike, etc.. free music is free advertising.

No. When you download it legaly it's fine and they shouldn't punish anyone for it.

You should ask yourself how you would feel if someone stole your stuff...downloading is fine if you pay for it. I use iTunes.
