merely wait on your 18,allot of outlets won't pierce some one below 18....It feels greater effective to sign for your self any way..And bridge piercings could be annoying to heal and keep because of the fact its a floor piercing..i understand from adventure lol

Its not your job to convince your parents to let you do something. Its THEIR job to hold strong to their values, and YOUR job to respect that they are just doing what they believe is best for you. Once you turn 18, you will have the rest of your life to do whatever you want to your own body. If getting a facial piercing is truly important and meaningful to you, its worth waiting for. In the meantime, there are a lot of other ways, non-scarring ways to express yourself.

Oh, and if you ever plan on getting a job, you might as well forget it because most of them will either just not hire you at all, make you take it out, or make you wear a retainer so your piercing cant be seen.

it really depends on how old you are, cause if you get it when you are really young it will end of sagging and moving to places you don't want it too. eyebrow piercing especially! trust me i know. personal experience. if your parents say no then i would wait cause if you don't get it done by a professional cause if you don't you maybe looking at a badly infected and poorly done piercing.

i would say that 15 is still a little young. i would also think about if you are wanting to have a job next year. because some people wont hire you if you have one. then also think about your school, some schools wont allow it.

Sorry to discourage you, but you'll never convince them. No parent wants to see their child mark up their face in such a way. Not only that, but having facial piercings doesn't SHOW you have maturity. It shows you are NOT mature. How many employers out there are going to want to hire a woman who has her face pierced? Hmmm? Oh yeah, you might get a job at a fast food restaurant cook, but is that what you want as your life goal?

For my kids, it would depend on how old they were. Also, they would have to come to me with sound reasons as to why they wanted it. It would also depend on how easy to undo it, and if they could take it out, hide it for family functions. Good luck, don't be surprised if they say no.

by turning 18 and moving out of their house and then going to get it done.

You won't ever convince them- so why even try.
