the oil or grease drips down from the cables into the floor mat. can you tell me what can it be?

sound,s like your heater core is leaking antifreeze.

are you sure it is oil? does it have a distinct smell? does it happen all the time? or only when the heater or AC is on. It could be you have heater core leak or you ac unit is driping. being a side mounted unit if you can run the car and find the wire that is dripping follow it back up to where it leaks from the engine (tho i expect it is something like the AC or heater) does you car blow out blue smoke? it could be a leaky head gasket or a cracked line anywhere. hard to from here. the best i can do is find where you think it leaks. but in newer cars the fire wall should protect the inside.

If it is oil you may want to have the evaporator "sniffed" for a leak. The oil could be Refrigerant oil, or antifreeze or a rotting animal corpse. But that would smell REALLY bad.
