Human rights abuses from one end to the other. That government is the worst and does NOT deserve the privilege.
I think Olympics Inc. is willing to do anything for cheap crap to sell and only wants to kiss up to main supplier even if that supplier is government that makes kids shoot their own parents.

I agree with the man from China for the most part, and about other nations who are guilty. Clean record or you do not attend. Peaceful nations only.
No U.S. no Zimbabwe! No nation Amnesty International has on their violation list. I don't care if the "other kids are doing it" its still horribly wrong.
To clarify shooting their own parents, I mean Tibeaten children forced to do so, I mean nuns raped, baby girls killed, I mean prison for speaking out, forced labor, killing protesters.
Make no mistake I am just as ashamed and horrified at the U.S. as China on these matters, don't make me list in this short space the U.S.'s place on A I s list.
I could care less how much money China or anyone makes, the good things in life are free.

your views offend me terribly since i am chinese. i would like to know why you think china is so terrible. is it because they have one of the fastest, if not the fastest, growing economies in the world right now? Or maybe because china is taking steps to releive itself from age old isolations from the rest of the world? Also, your views are extremely western and biased. you say the chinese government are corrupt suppliers. What about western manufacturers that take advantage of the sweat shops?(walmart, Nike, Hollister) The government is the worst? Even if they were "the worst" how about you try to look at America first with Bush? Bush cant even handle problems in America while i wont even go near iraq. How about bush try to govern one fourth of the world that is China? yeah your comments are looking more retarded by the second. How about you pick up an issue of Time, Newsweek, or watch CNN once in a while. The truth is the old China of Mao Ze Dong is long gone although you probably think he is still alive. Also human rights are widely debateable. with millions on top of millions of chinese people all speaking very different dialects (beleive me its more complicated than i could ever explain) how do you try to tell them all new western ideas that have never been seen before?

i think of those countries would desire to attend the video games, besides the indisputable fact that I agree that China has extremely some blood on its hands. right this is why: get right of entry to to non-respectable factors of view is many times impossible interior China. The video games furnish a great risk for chinese language people to work out and communicate with people from international. The video games are going to take place with or with out some international places' attendance. subsequently, the detrimental impression of a boycott is minimum. it could make you experience extra acceptable, besides the indisputable fact that that is going to do no longer something yet toughen China's inner hegemony. ultimately, we tried a boycott in the previous, against the U.S.. did no longer do something, from what I remember, different than smash the hearts of yank athletes.

During the Olympic games there is a call for peace. China is the host for the 2008 Games. If you say they cant compete then cancel the games. human rights abuses are in every country. Before you start crying about other countries don't you think that our country better clean itself up. Remember the "Golden Rule".

I think the games create a distraction from all the things that are going on in ones country and if you think that China is corrupt ,than the more reason the should have the Olympics .Seeing as how it will provide a distraction for them.

Give China a chance! Or would you rather have just the countries in Europe and North America participate? The Chinese goverment isn't as corrupted as you think. >_> [Kids shooting their own parents? WTF? Only kids in America do that.]
