Eh!! Why would you want your 12 yr old being terrified and having nightmares? They may act brave but at 12 your child is still very very sensitive to external suggestion.
Things like this do affect them and I would steer well clear of them if I were you.

Sandy

BTW thanks for the thumbs down.
Ps. Your children may well be inspired by what they see on the TV as it looks good. In reality ghost tours are quite boring as nothing may happen but if it does, then your child will be very scared and that will give them many restless nights afterwards. It happened to me so I know first hand... :o(

How about a cemetery walk? Scary as hell but you know what kids are like...Try Albeny Park in North London, or Highgate cemetery...both old Victorian cemetery's, full of creepy mausoleums and stone angels....they're both open till dusk and although they'll probably terrify the bejeezus out of you all, are manned with gardeners and staff, so are probably safe enough...

Albney park is better tho as it has lots of exits, flanked by shopping streets with coffee shops should it all get too much...

Not sure that is a good idea. If you want to do it then try Google..
Otherwise make it up and get family and friends to help: in a nice way. Don't want to scare the children too much i hope.
