Its seems to me that, even though I thought Newlyweds was ace, I still think they were together to further their careers, or at least Jess was. After watching all of them, it seems that she never really showed attention to Nick, she only cared about herself. She seemed very selfish, how could he love her to begin with? He's lush!

I don't think it was a farce, but I do believe Jessica was very immature. It seemed like Nick was really into it and trying his best to be a good husband. But Jessica was kind of conceited and seemed to be so taken with herself, know what I mean? I think when she went away to do Dukes of Hazzard, her ego got even bigger and that's when she wanted out of her marriage. I believe Nick got really hurt. That's why I'm happy to see him with Vanessa. They make a really cute couple.

I came to the Nick and Jessica story late after actually watching an episode of the Newlyweds. I'm not a pop music fan plus I'm a little too old for it. But anyway, my niece was watching it and I just ended up sitting there as well. I pray she's not really that "dumb"!
I took a good look at the two and asked my niece was this a real show or a sitcom because a lot of it seemed so made up. But she said it was real and that they were really married. I mentioned that I didn't think their marriage would last because they are both too damn good looking for each other. When that boy smiled- Damn! I was ready to do a Demi and snatch him up! Not into younger guys but whew!
So the divorce didn't surprise me at all. What is surprising me is all of the press their marriage is receiving now. Jessica just wanted to get back in the spotlight by claiming out of the blue that Nick dating someone really hurt her. What did she expect? You can't let a man that looks that damn delicious loose and expect him not to date. Hell, Women all over the world were happy he was free and trying to figure out how to meet him.
So I can actually see what you mean about the whole marriage being a farce. They may just be good friends and cooked the whole thing up to put a raise in each of their careers.

We unfortunalely never hear about the good and lasting marriages in Hollywood. But it seems that some of the younger people don't take their vows as seriously as the older folks. Sadly, when I hear about another young couple tying the knot, I don't pay much attention to it, but do fleetingly wonder how long it will last. This so pitiful for the children involved. It seems they think no more of signing the divorce paper as they did the marriage license.

i easily don't understand their storyline yet they say Jessica cheated i think! even yet it became kinda unhappy watching them split cuz they have been a stunning couple,and that i in no way theory they could split judging it by using how they acted

Jess just needed something to boost her popularity. The divorce was all over the news, but she really wasn't like all depressed over it.

I think the same way..I think that she only stayed with him to get further in her career..It was always about her in their shows..I felt sorry for him..
