The stream.
Go to a stream and sit on the banks and see what happens. The stream will keep you company and talk to you. It even feels like it is talking to your soul.
You can watch the fish, hear the water roll across the rocks, hear it lap the banks, and see the clear miror of its image. This is a place all children can connect with their inner selves. They can feel safe and accepted. Water is magical. It can transform you into a calm, loving person in only a few visits. Try it. You will leave feeling lighter, brighter and more alive.

My godparents ranch. They built it out in the countryside of Lithuania near a beautiful river. The wooden house stands on a hill with a small garden of fruit bushes and trees standing around a sandbox. A bit lower down the hill stood another small wooden house, this was the sauna. Just outside this sauna was a large area for a bonfire that we would have every night, cook food over it, and then use the coal and wood from there to heat up the sauna. Once everyone got heated up in the sauna, we would all rush out and like a stampede of bulls, we would run down the rest of the hill and jump into the river to cool off. You could simply dive into the water or you could take your time getting on the tarzan rope and swing yourself from the hill into the cool water. So the events of the night would be the best...but during the day we would play basketball in the rundown building next to the ranch, or run around and search through the other rundown and abandoned farms standing near the ranch house. Since there are forests all around, we can also go berry hunting or go to the junkyard and find treasure. Since there was actually nothing to do inside the ranch house(besides sleep), we would spend the entire day running around barefoot outside, even when it rained.

The Bower, where you could crawl into the comforting embrace of a circle of tree whose branches dipped to the ground. There you could have peace and silence enough to hear the speaking of the Earth.
