Hi,

I'm going to be in Niagara Falls, ON from 03 April 2007 - 05 April 2007 as part of a trip all around America. Unfortunately I've noticed that the Maid of the Mist tour does not usually run until late April.

I was wondering a few things:

1) Are there any other boat tours that do run in early April?

2) I was thinking of booking the Canadian Rainbow tour, which would include the Journey Behind The Falls - is this worth it?

3) Any other recommendations for things to do in Niagara Falls at the time I'll be visiting?

Any advice greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Niagara falls in April should be pretty nice. It could be a little bit cool, as this is still early spring, but should be fine with a light jacket.

I'm not sure about other tours. I'd hunt through Niagara Falls websites to see. It's off-season, so they may not run. It's still worth seeing, even without the boat tour.

I've never done the walk behind the falls, but know of many people that have. It's supposed to be pretty neat. You'll get a little wet, but they'll give you a raincoat to wear. I'd love to do it.

Niagara Falls has a casino, if you like gambling, and they have a lot of amusement parks and attractions. You don't need to book them in advance.

Personally, I've done both the Maid of the Mist and the Journey Behind the Falls and I think the Journey Behind the Falls is a million times better. As for other things to do, there's also the Butterfly Conservatory and the Floral Clock. If you have time, make a side trip into Niagara on the Lake and do some shopping as well as visit a winery or two.

Hello! The first flowers should be out by then ,But if not the niagaraparks greenhouse is nice and flowerful. The bird sanctuary, and the butterfly conservatory are nice places to visit the Journey behind the falls lets you see the falls from behind and hearing the noise of the water falling. There are always nice shows at he Avalon ballroom at the fallsview casino.Or at yukk-yukks a comedy show at casino Niagara. So come and have fun.

In BC i detect April to be relatively advantageous. to no longer warm, to no longer chilly. Ontario its a splash chilly. undecided approximately Alberta, Sask, or different the maritime provinces. however you are able to anticipate Halifax being chilly, Its in no way been heat whilst Ive been there. additionally i do no longer think of Canadians are the suitable to invite as a results of fact we are very used to the chilly, and your chilly may well be our heat.
