The first one, though the second one had some scary images that can still keep me up at night. I think people don't like these movies because its too much of an effort to watch- you have to pay attention to the plot and all the twists and turns, instead of just watching eagerly for some guy to tear out someone else's guts. Less excitement, more weird creepiness... I love these movies.

I've only seen The Grudge, and since it was so bad, I didn't want The Grudge 2.

Grudge 2 became scary, yet not as solid via actuality the first one. there have been some humorous factors that throw the entire subject off, yet i do not prefer to provide something away. the first Grudge gave me chills for a pair of week, although the sequel isn't that scary. bypass see ''Texas Chainsaw massacre: the taking off up" instead, that's the position you money ought to bypass. =P

i think grudge 2 should be a comedy...grudge 1 is more serious

I haven't seen the second one but usually the first one is better. The first one was all right. It wasn't scary, scary.
